The European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) are excited to announce the fourth edition of the Cybersecurity in Railways conference. This annual event, focused on the latest advancements, best practices, and challenges in railway cybersecurity, will take place in Lille, France, on 2-3 October 2024. The conference will feature additional workshops on the first morning, continuing the strong collaboration between the two agencies, with robust support from the European Commission.

Key topics will include the implementation of the NIS2 Directive, exploring Member States' approaches, standards, and solutions to meet its requirements. The event will also present the current threat landscape for railway cybersecurity as outlined by Member States and ENISA, and feature a session on railway vehicles covering authority inspections, testing weaknesses, and security for legacy trains. Emphasis will be placed on addressing training needs and opportunities. The conference aims to foster a railway cybersecurity community, offering networking opportunities for speakers and participants to share insights and raise awareness among stakeholders about the evolving cyber threat landscape.
