The 2024 annual Summit of the International Transport Forum (ITF) will bring together transport ministers from across the globe to discuss critical global transport policies. This year's summit will focus on the transport sector's contribution to environmental sustainability and will assess the impacts of climate change, health crises, and geopolitical issues.
Mr. Giorgio Travaini, Acting Executive Director representing the European Union, will participate in a panel at the DAC-side event on 22 May at 17:00 CET. During this session, Mr. Travaini will delve into the EU's support for the DAC, emphasizing the importance of sustained investment despite various challenges.
On 23 May at 9:00 CET, Mr. Travaini will join another panel discussion titled ‘Digital Infrastructure Promoting Climate-Proof and Resilient Transport’. This discussion will include various speakers who will address how public and private sector collaboration can enhance the resilience and robustness of transport digital infrastructure.
In addition to these discussions, Europe’s Rail will have a dedicated exhibition stand to highlight the work and accomplishments of our program.
